This summer we will be open for children and young people aged 7 and over Monday to Friday from Monday 26th July until Friday 3rd September and closed for the August bank holiday Monday. Our opening times will be 11am until 4pm. There is no charge but we welcome donations. There is no need to book but all children who attend will need a parent to complete a registration form for them (please see below). We are working on the details but we will be providing cooked lunches for all children that want them. We ask that all children bring a water bottle with them which can be refilled. We respond to what the children tell us they want to do so consequently do not have a programme of activities. We have a large adventurous space where children can run around, climb, jump, roll, balance, scream, play with mud and water, get dirty, make things, destroy things, dress up, read, be quiet, be on their own or play in large groups. In other words – be children. We advise that children who come to the playground for the first time try it out for a few hours to start with to see if it suits them. We operate an open access policy. This means that  children aged 7 and over can come and go as they please. All staff who work for us are trained and competent playworkers whose role is to make professional judgements and to support the children in their play.

Children and Young People coming to the Adventure Playground – Every child aged 7 and over that comes to the playground needs to have a registration form completed for them. The link to our new registration form is here
