Cubs in the Wild

All mammals play as part of early life and our little human “cubs” are no exception, Gwealan Tops Adventure Playground is now offering a new term-time pre-school playgroup for Under 6’s on Tuesday mornings.

It’s called Cubs in the The Wild and is centred on play and nurturing in nature. Your cubs will be free to explore and discover the world around them in a child-centred yet wild play environment. Each week there will be playful activities and a range of toys, objects and spaces for the children to interact with if they chose.

This is a great opportunity to meet other families, try out new things, get support and ideas – all within the unique and special place that is Gwealan Tops Adventure Playground. These sessions will be led by a qualified childcare professional, experienced playworker and parent who is also a qualified horticulturalist. We are passionate about a child’s right to play, thrive and develop to their full potential as well as enjoying exploring and discovering nature and the world around them.

Children are natural explorers and are likely to get messy given the chance so it’s best to dress them (and you) with both this and the weather in mind. Sensible shoes for outdoors are essential! We can provide hot drinks for adults, please feel free to bring along your own snacks in case your cub gets hungry. Parking is available.

This is an all weathers outdoor group for children ranging from crawling up to 6 years old. We will be outdoors in most weathers but are lucky enough at the moment to have a beautiful indoor space where we can retreat to in case of extreme conditions.

Sessions will be £6 for the first child, £2 for each additional child per family. Babes in arms free.
